情報処理学会の学会誌『情報処理』（Vol.66, No.8, 2025年7月15日発行）において、特集「日本でインターネットはどのように始まったか ─ JUNET 生誕40年 ─」が掲載されました。
その中で、CCRC共同センター長・村井純による「黎明期インターネットの回顧と教訓」では、日本のコンピュータネットワークが世界とつながる第一歩となったJUNETの発展を、自身の実体験をもとに振り返り、インターネット文明の曙について述べています。

How Did the Internet Begin in Japan? – the 40th Anniversary of JUNET
The Information Processing Society of Japan has published a special feature, “How Did the Internet Begin in Japan? – the 40th Anniversary of JUNET: Foreword / Outline”, in its journal Information Processing (Vol.66, No.8, issued on July 15, 2025) in Japanese.
In this issue, CCRC Co-Director Professor Jun Murai contributes an article in which he reflects on his firsthand experiences with JUNET, which marked Japan’s first step in connecting its computer networks to the world and paved the way for the dawn of the Internet civilization.
