Keio University and VNNIC Sign MoU to Strengthen Collaboration on Internet Engineering Education in Vietnam

Professor Keiko Okawa (Keio University / SOI Asia) and Mr. Nguyen Hong Thang (VNNIC) hold the signed MoU marking the start of institutional collaboration.
On 22 July 2025, Keio University, through its Cyber Civilization Research Center (CCRC) under the Global Research Institute (KGRI), and the Viet Nam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote bilateral cooperation via the School on Internet Asia (SOI Asia)—Keio’s long-standing initiative to foster collaborative education and research in Internet technologies.
This MoU represents Keio’s first formal partnership with a national Internet registry (NIR) organization, complementing its ongoing collaboration with APNIC, the regional Internet registry (RIR) for the Asia Pacific. The MoU provides a foundation for future cooperation in Internet education and capacity building.
